Who We Are

Friends of the Brentwood Library is a non-profit, 501(c)3 service-oriented group with over 500 members dedicated to the advancement
of our community through its library.

What We Do

In 2022, Friends of the Brentwood Library proudly supported the John P. Holt Brentwood Library in the following ways:

  • Volunteered over 5,300 hours

  • Raised and donated $100,000+

    • $28,000 for programs & programming supplies

    • $12,500 for all staff development
      & conferences

    • $30,000 to update the Friends Gathering Room

    • $20,000 for space planning, updated signage, & other equipment

    • $1,000 for new Book Club Sets

    • $1,000 for the pollinator garden on the Reading Terrace

  • Funded community outreach with programs such as Booktacular, Book Club Social, hot cocoa for Brighten Brentwood, Tiny Art Contest, & monthly Art Displays.
